I'm Christopher Kelso. I spent fifteen years as a Mechanical Engineer in aerospace and precision manufacturing, CFRP fabrication, CNC machining, metrology, and quality inspection to FAA and EASA standards, working at Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and other precision shops.

Aerospace runs on one rule: build to the drawing, then verify against it. Nobody eyeballs a flight component and nobody guesses at a layup schedule. I bring that same discipline to boats.

What I do

  • On-site measurement and documentation: I measure your trampoline, net, or damaged composite area and produce a clear, fabrication-ready drawing.

  • Precise installation: I install nets and trampolines to the manufacturer’s specifications, including correct lacing and tensioning.

  • Composite repair: I diagnose why a repair failed, correct the root cause, and restore load paths so the repair carries design loads reliably.

Services

  • Trampoline net and mesh installation for catamarans and trimarans

  • Structural and cosmetic composite repair, performed to documented specification

  • Single-point responsibility: one technician - me - from first measurement to final lacing pass

  • Travel available: based in Safety Harbor, serving Pinellas and Hillsborough counties; travel further up the Gulf Coast or to the Caribbean with travel quoted up front

Availability

  • Composite repair booking opens January 2027.
